How long have the .GOV Awards been running?
Launched in 2015 this is the 3rd year for the .GOV Awards in Saudi Arabia. The awards were held in Abu Dhabi for the UAE federal government in March 2017 and in Dubai for the Dubai and Northern Emirates government entities in May 2017.

11:00 pm: Event concludes

What is the dress code for the awards?
The dress code is business attire/national dress. Evening formals are optional.
Where do I submit my nomination?
All nominations must be in English and should be submitted through the event website. Supporting documents can be collated in a single PDF document no larger than 10MB and submitted with the nomination. Any additional queries can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
What format should my nomination be in?
Nominations must be submitted through the Awards website and supporting material can be in word, pdf, powerpoint, excel or jpg format. Nominations must be in English.
What timeframe does the awards cover?
Nominations should be for recent initiatives, achievements and successes. Anything older than 12 months is unlikely to be successful.
Who can enter?
This edition of the awards is open to KSA government entities and partners only.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter as many categories as you like, providing you submit a separate nomination for each entry.
What if I haven’t got much to say?
Use the ‘Nomination Process’ guidelines to find out what information you need to be submitting.
What are the judges looking for?
Nominations must be succinctly written, and remain within the ‘Nomination Process’ guidelines described above. Entrants are advised to be passionate about their achievements, but nominations should deal in grounded statements with supporting facts and figures; not hyperbole and platitudes. Judges will look favourably on entries that clearly outline the reasons why the nominee is deserved of the award.
How can I improve my chances of winning an award?
Start working on your nomination as soon as possible. It is obvious to the judges which entries have been put together at the last minute. Be clear and accurate with your entry, and don’t attempt to pad out your entry with over-the-top language. Read the nomination criteria, keep your entry to the point and focus on your achievements.

Shortlisted nominees should be able to attend the event in February 2018.
