Adrian Palmer is Senior Technical Director at WSP with responsibility for leading WSP’s Transportation and Infrastructure business in Qatar.
Prior to joining WSP in 2013, Adrian was Managing Director of Ramboll Middle East based in Dubai, a move that followed the acquisition in April 2011 by Ramboll of Gifford LLP formerly one of the UK’s leading independent consultancies. In 35 years with Gifford he became a Director and Partner holding various roles including leadership of the Highway Infrastructure business and latterly responsibility for overseas businesses in UAE, India and Gibraltar.
Adrian completed his tertiary level training at Southampton Solent University and has been a Chartered Engineer and a Member of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers since 1987.

Peter Murphy is a UK Chartered Civil Engineer whose career spans more than 30 years working for major UK and international contractors and consultants in design and site engineering roles. In the UK he thrived on constructability/ value engineering for bid proposals and project implementation, often in new build and refurbishment sites in London and challenging in engineering and construction methods. He moved on to contractor-lead multi-consultant design management for UK DBFO infrastructure and light rail projects.
His international experience began 10 years ago in cross-party design management for reconstruction programmes in Iraq before moving on to Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi and then as Engineer for rehabilitation of the historic centre of Bucharest, Romania. During nearly six years based in Egypt he was Engineering Manager for Cairo Festival City and travelled as regional technical expert for an NGO on schools projects in South Sudan. He returned to Egypt as client’s Project Manager for a new school project at Cairo American College.
Peter joined CEG International in Doha in 2010 as Projects Director and takes a leading role in client liaison and business development as well as working across departments in front-end concept and design as well as having a strong emphasis on Projects Management. His current leading role with CEG International, builds on their reputation, established in Qatar since 1975, in high-end high-value projects for Governmental, public, commercial and Private/VIP clients.

Renowned industry expert, Dr Neil Kirkpatrick is the head of sustainability for Faithful+Gould in the Middle East. Kirkpatrick is both Estidama Pearl qualified and a global sustainability assessment system (GSAS) certified green professional. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the UK, the UAE and Qatar, including high profile roles advising government, developers and royalty, as well as the European commission. Kirkpatrick’s expertise includes providing project management and technical advice for master planning, design and construction across the full spectrum of property and infrastructure projects and programmes.

Alf Ziegler is an Environmental Engineer holding a German Master Degree in Environmental Sciences (Dipl. Ing.- TU) from the Technical University , Munich
He is an accredited Environmental Auditor (ISO 14001) and GSAS Associate
Presently and since 2010 he is the Environmental & Sustainability Manager of Lusail City, Qatar. Alf has over 20 years of work experience in international Environmental and Sustainability Management. In addition to Environmental Management he has been involved in the technical-financial development of ground breaking Public – Private Partnership Infrastructure Projects working with funding Institutions like the World Bank, EBRD and IDB.
Alf has worked in several European countries, in the Caribbean, West Africa and the MENA region.
